Medical Disclaimer — Read This First

THE CONTENT PUBLISHED ON THIS SITE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE, AND MUST NOT BE CONSTRUED AS, MEDICAL ADVICE, CLINICAL GUIDANCE, SURGICAL RECOMMENDATION, OR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OPINION OF ANY KIND.

Conversations In Orthopaedics is an independent editorial journal. Each issue is an analytical reading of published peer-reviewed literature — it is not itself a peer-reviewed study, clinical guideline, or practice standard. The editorial commentary reflects the independent interpretive judgment of the author as of the date of publication, and may not reflect subsequent developments in the literature.

Nothing on this Site should be used as the basis for any medical decision, including but not limited to: diagnosis, treatment selection, surgical planning, pharmacological management, postoperative care, or rehabilitation protocol. Patients must consult a licensed, board-certified physician or appropriate healthcare professional for evaluation and management of any medical condition.

The reliance on any information appearing on this Site is solely at your own risk. The Publisher expressly disclaims all liability for any outcome, clinical or otherwise, arising from such reliance.

  3. III

    No Professional Relationship

Use of this Site does not establish a physician-patient relationship, an attorney-client relationship, a fiduciary relationship, or any other professional or advisory relationship between you and the Publisher or any contributor to the Site.

No communication through this Site — including but not limited to email, subscription forms, submission forms, or correspondence published in response to an issue — creates or implies any such relationship.

  4. IV

    Editorial Nature of Content

All editorial content on this Site represents the personal analytical opinion of the named author(s). Commentary on published studies, clinical trials, and surgical techniques reflects one interpretive reading and does not represent consensus, institutional policy, or official guidance from any professional society, hospital, university, regulatory authority, or government body.

The Publisher makes no representation that the analysis of any study is exhaustive, that all interpretations are equally valid, or that cited conclusions have not been contested, retracted, updated, or superseded since the date of publication.

Statements referring to named researchers, institutions, or publications are editorial commentary on the public scientific record and are not statements of fact about individuals. All such statements are protected opinion under applicable law.

  5. V

    Intellectual Property

All original editorial content on this Site — including but not limited to articles, analyses, abstracts, structural composition, visual design, and typographic arrangement — is the exclusive intellectual property of Conversations In Orthopaedics and is protected by copyright, trade dress, and applicable intellectual property law.

References to, quotations from, and summaries of third-party published works are made under the doctrine of fair use for purposes of commentary, criticism, and scholarship.
